Manchester Church in Need fundraiser for Nineveh

On Thursday 3rd May, the Holy Name Church on Oxford Road in Manchester, hosted Aid to the Church in Need - North West and a fundraising clothes sale, that was organised to help further the reconstruction of thousands of Iraqi Christian homes, across the Nineveh Plains.

The Holy Name Church is also home to ACN’s ONE NIGHT icon (pictured below), which was put in place after the success of One Night for Religious Freedom. First organised in 2015 for Iraq, One Night has since incorporated other countries facing religious persecution, including Syria and Pakistan.

With glorious sunshine, the sale of clothing for Iraq attracted the attention of students and passersby, along Manchester’s busy Oxford Road. All proceeds raised from the sales of clothing, will help Aid to the Church in Need support Iraqi Christians return home to Nineveh.
