Who We Are

WE CAN HELP YOU

Are you involved with an Iraqi or Middle Eastern issue? We welcome news on all interesting subjects, invite guest articles and we'd love to interview you about your work. We also welcome press-releases for upcoming events. Through our In Conversation series, you can also learn about the grass-roots initiatives which are taking place..

FREE YOUR MIND

We are proud to be the only British-Iraqi media organisation, who has given a long term commitment to the mental wellbeing of victims of war and terrorism. Along with giving much needed publicity to reputable agencies working with survivors, we also take part on the annual Manchester 10K and Run Media City 5K to aid these efforts.

EDUCATE YOURSELF AND THE FUTURE

According to UNESCO, there are an estimated 750 millions adults who lack basic reading and writing skills. An estimated 496 million of these are women! For us, education is an essential building block to ending war and building a dignified future. This is why we are committed to helping to end illiteracy by empowering both young people and adults.

WORLD WIDE EDUCATION

As part of our commitment to adult education, our World Wide Education guide invites you to broaden your knowledge on a number of universal themes. Through online exhibitions and e-learning, you can develop your understanding on a number of subjects. These include history and heritage, the Holocaust and the US civil rights movement.

JOIN US AND GET INVOLVED

Have you ever wanted to get involved but are not sure where to start? Through our guide, we can hopefully navigate you towards an activity which interests you, while helping to develop your own interest in Iraq, the Middle East or your own dual-heritage. All activities are fully inclusive and disability friendly.
