Arab American Museum to offer bilingual storytimes

Young book lovers can enjoy bilingual storytimes now being offered at the Arab American National Museum.

The storytimes, featuring books read in Arabic and English, take place at 10:30 a.m. the fourth Saturday of each month in the Russell J. Ebeid Library & Resource Center at the museum, 13624 Michigan Ave.

Upcoming dates are Aug. 26 and Sept. 23. Children ages 2 to 6 and their parents are invited to attend.

A storyteller will read picture books in both English and Arabic, teaching a few Arabic words and phrases. Following the story, there will be time for free play, crafts or games in the library.

The new storytime series is free with RSVP. Visit arabamericanmuseum.org/storytime to sign up.
