Britain’s Iraq Solidarity Campaign, would like to invite all readers’s of Iraq Solidarity News (Al-Thawra), to join them live on Pinterest, where the public can now engage in the wider debate on Iraq, and learn more about the diversity of the global Iraqi community.
With a wide range of topical subjects, including women’s rights, mental health and disabilities, combined with current news and information, the Pinterest page of Iraq Solidarity News (Al-Thawra) offers a socially engaging experience for its readers.
With a diversity of subjects being explored, in a range of themed galleries, members of the online community are now able to examine in closer detail, the social, cultural and political issues which affect them on a daily basis.
Each gallery explores particular themes, which includes US, UK, European and regional news from across the Middle East. Iraqi and Government news, festive celebrations, campaigning resources and a gallery dedicated to terrorism studies are also included.
Over the next few months, there is going to be a growth in the number of galleries available to the public and visitors are being encouraged to take an active role, by making suggestions for future themes and by contributing to the development of the site.
According to a spokesperson for the British based Iraq Solidarity Campaign, “Through the combination of photography, videos and links to thought-provoking articles, each section of the site will give visitors a much broader insight into Iraq and the Iraqi people.”
