Saudi Cleric Calls for Murdering Women and Children in Iraq

And he’s not exactly a fan of America either, declaring on Twitter, “O Allah, humiliate America and make them prey to your followers.”Dr. Saad al-Durihim is a faculty member of the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, named after the founder of Saudi Arabia under the Saudi clan in alliance with the madman, Mohammed bin Abdul-Wahhab, who gave us Wahhabism.

So it’s safe to say that al-Durhim’s call for mass murder meets with the approval or at least the tolerance of the House of Saud. The Saudi Wahhabi cleric and the faculty member at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, Dr. Saad al-Durihim, called Iraqi Mujahideen (al Qaeda terrorist groups) to kill Shiite women and children in order to cause more terror and fear among Iraqi people.

Dr. Saad al-Durihim, in his Twitter called Mujahideen to increase cruelty and murder or even captive women and children to scare more people. The context for Saad’s proposals was the spillover of the Sunni-Shiite civil war in Syria into Lebanon and Iraq. Saad al-Durihim’s Twitter feed is full of calls for treating Iraq’s Shiite Prime Minister just like Assad.

That part might be tricky considering that while Syria has a Sunni majority and Shiite minority, Iraq has a Shiite majority and Sunni minority. Saad al-Durihim has gone from declaring Shiites a horrifying and murderous enemy to suggesting that the only way to reason with them was to kill large numbers of Shiite civilians, including women and children.

The proposal isn’t that extraordinary, but the consequences will be. Interventions fancifully imagine that overthrowing Assad will wrap up the Arab Spring. It will not. The next phase of the Sunni Islamist Jihad will be Iraq and Saad al-Durhim is giving us a taste of what Salafist brigades, like those in Syria, armed and guided by Turkish and Qatari special forces and money will bring there.

The one thing that defines Islam is perpetual conflict and war. If the war in Syria temporarily abates, the terrorists will refocus their aim on Iraq.
