Letters From Baghdad tells Bell’s dramatic story using her own words (voiced by Tilda Swinton) and those of her contemporaries, excerpted from their intimate letters, private diaries and official documents.
With never-before-seen archive footage of the region, the film chronicle’s her extraordinary journey into both the uncharted Arabian desert and the inner sanctum of British colonial power.
