Canada Prime Minister Condemns Attack on Syrian Refugees in Vancouver

On Saturday, an unidentified suspect attacked the Syrian refugees, including several children and women, with the pepper spray near the Muslim Association of Canada Centre.

Some 30 people were injured in the incident.

"I condemn the attack on Syrian refugees in Vancouver," Justin Trudeau (PM) wrote in his official Twitter account on Saturday.

Canadian law enforcement is currently searching for the assailant.

Canada is set to receive 25,000 refugees fleeing violence and poverty in the Middle East and North Africa amid the ongoing massive migrant crisis in the world, according to Canada’s Ad Hoc Cabinet Committee on Refugees.
