MARK YOUR CALENDARS GUYS! The Iraqi Children Foundation’s annual “In Their Shoes” 5K is returning on Sunday, October 15th, at the beautiful Hains Point - along the Potomac River in Washington, DC.
The ICF’s 5K run/walk benefits Iraqi orphans, disabled kids and other extremely vulnerable boys and girls. The “In Their shoes” 5K is a once-a-year opportunity to unite, in worldwide solidarity with the voiceless children of Iraq.
This is exciting news and for those who are unable to travel to Washington DC, the “In Their Shoes” 5K also includes a virtual run/walk option, making this the only international event for Iraqi children’s welfare!
Within the past month, the Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) has saved a clinic serving disabled children in Fallujah, Iraq. ICF has helped disabled children in the past but this is the largest project the ICF has ever launched.
As we prepare for the “In Their Shoes” 5K, you can visit iraqichildren.org to learn more about their groundbreaking work and you can also join the Iraqi Children Foundation over on Facebook and Twitter.
