From Manchester to Milan, students raise funds for Francis House and AMAR

On the 24th of March, students at the Manchester University Students Union embarked on a 30-hour journey, under the name of Jailbreak, in aid of Francis House Children’s Hospice and the AMAR Foundation.

Dressed as Ash and Pikachu (from PokĂ©mon) for the entire journey, two students, Krishan and Seema, managed to get from Manchester to Milan, using nothing but communication skills to travel for free.

Their remarkable challenge, has also managed to raise hundreds of pounds for the outstanding efforts of Francis House Children’s Hospice in Manchester and for AMAR’s work across Iraq.
