In Their Shoes Across America, For Iraq

Humoody was 2 years old, when in 2005, his family was ambushed in Baghdad. His uncle was killed and his mother was shot. The attackers then turned on Humoody. It would be the last thing he ever saw, as one eye was shot out and he was blinded in the other.

Today, Humoody is a strong, ambitious young man who plays the piano and is on the local football team. On May 20th, Humoody is going to join the Iraqi Children's Foundation in Virginia, for their annual "In Their Shoes 5K", in aid of vulnerable children in Iraq.

Friends across the USA, can join Humoody and the ICF, as there is still time to get involved with this remarkable community event. Everyone is welcome to either walk or run the 5K and all proceeds raised, will help other children in Iraq.
