Taking on Domestic Violence and Covid-19 in Iraq

It has been a pleasure to publish the interview with Liz McRae of the Iraqi Children Foundation and who through the Covid-19 crisis, are now working in partnership with the Iraq Health Access Organization, to support women who have been victims of Domestic Violence.

Through training and paid work experience, women being supported are also contributing to the efforts against Covid-19 by making face masks for families in need. This new partnership between the ICF and IHAO, will help women to lead safer and more independent lives.

As Liz McRae stated in her interview: "The Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) intervenes in the lives of orphans and street children who are vulnerable" and how "The organization was set up ten years ago by Americans who saw the need to help rebuild Iraq after so many years of conflict."
