Nina Simone Project to house archives of American icon

"On June 19th, 2020, The Nina Simone Project announced their capital campaign and plans for a new building in downtown Tryon -North Carolina- that will house thousands of documents, recordings, and other artifacts pertaining to the musician and civil rights leader," said WNCW Music Director Martin Anderson. 
"In addition to archival storage and office space, the 2,500 sq. ft. building will include gallery space, a catering kitchen, and a rooftop performance stage, as well as two residential spaces for visiting artists."
