A drop of milk for the children of Syria

Thousands of families in Syria have turned to ACN to feed their young children. The effects of the war have been severe, plunging Syria into economic crisis and making the cost of basic supplies, like milk, soar.

For families with young children, especially babies, this is catastrophic. This year Aid to the Church in Need have launched "A Drop of Milk", a programme working in Aleppo and Damascus providing urgently needed milk for children under the age of ten.

Thanks to your kindness, ACN have been able to approve plans to also roll out the scheme to children in Homs and Hama. In the West, milk seems like such a simple thing that we take for granted. For children in Syria, where food is often scarce, milk provides essential nourishment.

Without your compassion, thousands of children in Syria will lose access to free milk. Please give what you can and help Aid to the Church in Need with their "A Drop of Milk" campaign.
