Shlama is the Aramaic word for peace. Founded by Assyrian Chaldean Syriac youth activists, The Shlama Foundation strives to connect our diaspora to the homeland through the act of giving.
The Shlama Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in the country of Iraq, currently aiding families who have fled their ancestral homeland after ISIS forced their evacuation.
The mission of the organisation is to provide the displaced and current inhabitants of the Nineveh Plains with all their needs to live a quality life.
