Everyone is being invited to a special AMAR Foundation talk with Baroness Nicholson and Michael Bochmann, at the UK Parliament in London.
Michael Bochmann is a celebrated Musician, Virtuoso Violinist and Conductor, and a supporter of British NGO, the AMAR Foundation, who since 1991 has helped rebuild lives in Iraq and the wider Middle East region.
In his talk, Michael will explore how music can be fundamental to culture, identity and social cohesion, as well as sharing his experiences as a Musician and Conductor.
Baroness Emma Nicholson, who is the chair of the AMAR Foundation, is also a Musician and will be hosting the evening’s conversation, which will take place on Monday, March 13th.
Since June 2014, AMAR’s teams of Iraqi medical and educational staff, combined with the efforts of their volunteers, have been at the forefront in providing support to the 3.4 million internally displaced people in Iraq.
You can register here to attend this unique and free event. For people unable to attend and wishing to show support, you can help by making a donation to the AMAR Foundation’s Mosul Appeal.
