Iraqi Red Crescent receives 1225 displaced in Hassan camp eastern Mosul

The Iraqi Red Crescent society (IRCS) has announced receiving 1225 displaced people from different villages and areas of Nineveh governorate; they have been sheltered in Hassan al Sham camp eastern Mosul within two days. 

IRCS has said “IRCS teams have recorded the entry of 1225 displaced people, who have been sheltered in Hassan al Sham camp in which the camp had already 15992 displaced till now from different areas of Mosul. 

IRCS has also said “IRCS teams, who are deployed in the camps, have distributed 2500 ready meals and 850 integrated food parcels adding to distribute relief assistance including blankets, clothes, oil stoves, and other relief items.” 

IRCS teams have been capable of entering Shallalat village in Mosul and distributed 350 food baskets and 1400 blankets, not to mention distribution of 350 children clothes ,as IRCS health teams have provided health services, first aid and treatment to more than 1000 person, as well as organized psychosocial support lectures to displaced families of different age groups in displacement camps.
